The truth.

We Were Liars is a modern, sophisticated suspense novel from New York Timesbestselling author, National Book Award finalist, and Printz Award honoree E. Lockhart.
Read it.
And if anyone asks you how it ends, just LIE.

My opinion on the novel:

The description of this novel doesn’t really say much, does it? Well let me tell you that it was enough to make me wonder from the begining what is so special about this family? What is their secret? What is going on?

As I was turning the pages of this amazing novel, I felt more and more intrigued. There were so many secrets and I could not understand why nobody said what was going on. I wanted to reach the end but at the same time I didn’t want to reach the end.

The novel is mostly about these four teenagers that share a secret. As a reader I was constantly trying to catch on clues, I was thinking or maybe wondering if the things happening were actually happening or if someone was just inventing things, thinking that it was all real. I finally understood when I reach the last chapter. But the description says: And if anyone asks you how it ends, just LIE. I won’t lie 🙂 but I won’t share the ending either. The only thing that I must say is that I needed a few minutes to recover after I closed the book.

I definitely recommend this novel and it totally deserves 5 stars!!!
